Easter!!!

New This Week: THE PARK!!! Aurelia LOVES the park, whether its playing in the sand or venturing down slide, or just watching the other kids run around, she just loves the park!
We started the week off with enjoying the park and discovering the sand...it may be time for a sandbox!



On Wednesday, we spent the morning showing Daddy how much she LOVES the slide...














For lunch we had some leftover sweet and sour sauce and Ari is so curious at this point, so I offered her some, and of course it was a hit...all over the place!!!


Thursday was one of our first warm days, so warm we decided to stay in a onsie!

We had a big secret in our little home and we decided to share this weekend, we started on Thursday with Wuelo, via Skype...

We were in Harmony on Friday and enjoyed a hike out at the farm...





After our hike at the farm, we had lunch at the Village Square and visited Uncle Jonjon and of course had some ice cream!!!

Saturday morning we woke up to have a preliminary run through with the whole Easter Egg hunt. The Harmony Community Center had a really nice egg hunt for the kids and a little lunch indoors, afterwards.
Chase showed Aurelia what these eggs were all about and they checked out the goods!
Grandma Bena and Daddy tried introducing the Easter Bunny, but she wanted nothing to do with him!

Jackpot!!!

On Easter morning, Grandma Bena made breakfast and we all got in our pretties to go to church... After church, we dug into the Easter baskets... We even got a fun surprise visit from our buddy, Whitney! After basket opening, we headed to Uncle Chris's for lunch and the official egg hunt!


We even showed Ari Vail our tradition with the confetti eggs, cracked on the head...
Afterwards, Aurelia passed on her new knowledge of the eggs to little Dreigh...too cute!




We wrapped up our Easter and week over at Yaya and Papa's for some fun Easter baskets!

End of March...

New This Week: Hiding!! Aurelia likes to stand behind you or around a corner and wait until you say, "where's Ari?" "where did Aurelia go?" and then she walks out in front of you and laughs. She's too fun!!!

Spring is in the air...we started our week off with a walk around the neigborhood and enjoyed our first visit to our local park. It was so much fun! She loved watching another little boy play and just followed him around. Then she got bored and he followed her around...she could have cared less! It was kind of funny to watch these two little ones playing! Here is Aurelia at lunch time, telling her Daddy about our walk and play time!
It got kind of icky out on Wednesday and so we decided to stay inside. I think Ari took this time to do some reorganizinig...
We did take some time and play with our tootsies...chubby little things!!
Still on the cleaning mode, Miss Ari Vail was trying to find a place to put her shoes on Thursday...she tried the dining room chairs, she tried emptying out the lid drawer, she tried putting them on the highchair, she even tried to put them in Frida's bed!
On Friday, we ventured over to Loso's to play with Aston and meet Baby Kingsley! This is Ari, having some lunch, before we left... We had so much fun over at the Loso house. Baby Kingsley is adorable! Aurelia and AJ had a blast playing together and even left with a hug and a kiss!!! Hope to have this soon to post!! Tooooo cute! She had so much fun...this was the view when we left...
We had a fun afternoon shopping for her new wagon, thanks Grandma Bena!
The weekend flew by, but it was a good one!

Sunshine!!!

New This Week: We have 2 new teeth on top! So Aurelia now has 4 on top and 4 on the bottom! Quite the big girl! Also, one of her new words is WUELO (grandpa in Spanish)!!! Which made my Dad very excited when we got to Skype with them this week for the first time!! Now everytime I pull out my laptop, she says, "Wuelo?" Crazy how fast they catch on!

It was a very quick week for us...
We started it out by picking up some toys!! If only she would put them away too...
Tuesday, was a leisure morning...just reading our paper after breakfast...

I think it was a hint that she wanted to go back to the zoo, as it was the map for the zoo and she kept pointing at all the pictures!
This week was full of Spring!!! We spent some time outside enjoying the sunshine and walking around the neighborhood! We even walked around the backyard...Aurelia still doesn't like the grass; she was okay walking on it, and didn't like when she fell down...her hands immediately would shoot up so she wouldn't touch it!! Goofball! Here she is, very content after spending some time outside...
We spent the morning on Thursday, running errands with Daddy...I think she really likes her new carseat!!
And then home for lunch...

On Friday, we had a chance to see one of Connor's last hockey games!! Sooo excited for them that they won!!!! Here are Ari and Mackenzie doing some sort of cheer...I think...
On Saturday, Aurelia and I did some grocery shopping, which isn't all that exciting, except for the fact that for the first time, Ari got to ride in the little car that she's been pointing out every time we go!!

We had a really nice weekend! It was the first time in a loooong time that we didn't have to work or go anywhere! Daddy grilled (awesome Sweet n Sour Pork chops on one day) both days and we enjoyed the sunshine!! Too bad it went by so quickly!

Rainy March...

New This Week: Aurelia can now stomp her feet while standing up!! All we have to do is sing or hear her favorite song (If You're Happy and You Know It) and she gets sooo excited!!! And she now blows kisses, with real kiss sounds!!! Versus her open-mouth kisses she used to share!! Also, we opened up one of her Christmas gifts (yes, she still has unopened boxes of toys!!). It's an interactive pony that when riden it makes letters and shapes on the tv...pretty neat, I just don't think Aurelia quite gets it yet...but she sure likes climbing up on it!!! Thanks Yaya and Papa.

We started the week off with Mommy having to work a day shift, so Miss Ari Vail spent the day with Yaya. Sure sounds like they had a good time! When she woke up from her nap, she just kept looking around like something was missing...
This was Tuesday after breakfast...I just thought it was too cute...
We spent Wednesday relaxing around the house and playing with our toys...

And even did a Target run and modeled some of their headbands....

On Friday, we spent the morning with our friends, Ella and Rylie at the Minnesota Zoo! It was so much fun! Especially since it was a full family day...as the daddies joined us too!!

We relaxed on Saturday and enjoyed the sunshine on Sunday with a nice walk with Frida, while Daddy worked in the garage!!! And here we are, having a little playtime and wishing Tio Ramon a Happy Birthday!!!

It's March!

New This Week: Big-girl carseat!! Aurelia has finally hit that 20lb mark and is riding in a new carseat!! She loves it! Also new, Miss Vail likes to have her nail (I say nail, because she only has patience for one nail on each hand!) done. I was sitting on the floor painting my nails and she insisted on sitting next to me (almost on top of me) and I thought okay...I asked for her hand and she gave it to me, so I painted her nail! She was so proud! She also likes to hide...she crawls under her Daddy's desk and waits for us to say, "where's Aurelia?" and then she crawls out with a big ol' grin! She's just so much fun right now!!!

We started out the week, getting things organized for Mommy's Pampered Chef show...I'm so lucky to have quite the helper!!
Too bad she has a short attention span and got bored...or distracted!

On Tuesday, we attended a Potty Dance Party at the Mall of America. It was a sponsored toddler concert put on by Huggies. The music was live by Ralph's World, which I guess are pretty popular...we are such newbies!!! It was so much fun, though! There were sooo many little kids! Here she is rocking out in her tutu and moracca (that they handed out there)...


After the concert, we had enough energy to do a couple of rides...all still in her tutu, of course!


Wednesday, was just a relaxing day at home (you know how it is the day after a concert...haha!)
On Thursday, we joined our friends Aston and Jaime at Kyle and Baily's home and got to play with Dexter and meet their newest family member, Rowan! What a sweetie! And the boys sure kept Aurelia entertained...she just enjoyed watching them run circles. It was a really fun playdate! When we got home, Ari just sat in the sun and played with Frida for a bit, before naptime...

It was soooo nice out on Friday, we went out for our first walk of the season in the morning...
We headed to Harmony on Friday evening to get ready for Mommy's Pampered Chef show in the morning...and on the way home, Aurelia got to ride in her big-girl car seat!!! She was so happy!! I think she was just excited to see everything that was going on!
We came back home on Saturday evening and I think the poor little thing couldn't quite fall asleep...but after some fighting it, she finally fell asleep in her new seat...
On Sunday, we visited Great Grandpa Doc in the hospital...he looks to be doing much better and hopes to go home this week! Here's Ari Vail and her Daddy, walking the halls...
